Cook

Cook (from Wiktionary) – To prepare (food) for eating by heating it, often by combining it with other ingredients.

This is one of my very favorite pictures of my daughter and my nephew from Christmas several years ago.  My daughter loves to try new recipes and she outdid herself with the Christmas meal that year.  I was mostly the assistant cook and it was worth the work for the wonderful Christmas dinner that she prepared using mostly Cooking Light recipes.

Your lovely daughter has a beautiful smile. How nice to turn the holiday meal over to a new generation.

Thanks! We were all so impressed with her superb cooking and her courage is using new, untested recipes. I was glad to be smart enough to keep my lip zipped when she stressed out and I had to start helping her. It was fun to do it together, even though I wasn’t the chief cook.
