Owing a Treat for a Trick

March 2, 2011

Dogs, Pets, ZArchive (Old Blog)

Owing – To be under an obligation to give something back to someone or to perform some action for someone.

The dogs – especially the beagle – seem to think that if they do a trick, oh let’s say SIT – I am now owing them a treat.  Note that the beagle’s fanny is not quite touching the ground.  He still thinks I am owing him that treat though.  Note that we do not EVER feed the dogs when we are at the kitchen table.  Not never ever.  No no no no.  I don’t know why you would think I even DO a thing like that.

Word for tomorrow – TAILOR.  If you prefer to work ahead, see the list for the week under “A Word A Day”.

Thanks! It took me a while to come up with what to do for the word. I’m glad it worked.
