Guaranteed Company For A Warm Nap

March 29, 2011

Dogs, Family, Pets, ZArchive (Old Blog)

Guaranteed (from Wiktionary) – Simple past tense and past participle of guarantee – to make something certain.

When my daughter goes to take a nap, it’s guaranteed that she will not sleep alone.  How many dogs does it take?  One more than you see here – the one I shooshed away for standing there and breathing in her face.

To see how others might interpret today’s randomly selected word, check out KittyHere or There, Anywhere; hugmamma’s MIND, BODY and SOUL;  and ThreeSixFive, TwoZeroOneOne.  It is amazing how differently we each respond in our posts.

Word for tomorrow – DISCONTINUING.  If you prefer to work ahead, see the list for the week under “A Word A Day”.

I’ve often remarked to my daughter that I love seeing our pets lazing about. It connotes comfort, security, warmth, and gladness to be a part of our family.

makes me feel good…as if i were their real…hugmamma. ;)
