Invite For A Special Party

Invite (from Wiktionary) – To ask for the presence or participation of someone or something.

For her 50th birthday, my sister asked me to coordinate a party for her.  We went through lists of friends and family to invite everyone she wanted.  And did they come!  Here she is (in red) with her friend & daughters and her own daughter as well.  There was so much fun.  Family, old friends,  new friends, neighbors, and co-workers came in response to the invite, and my sister had a great time celebrating her birthday.

To see how others might interpret today’s randomly selected word, check out KittyHere or There, Anywhere; hugmamma’s MIND, BODY and SOUL;  and ThreeSixFive, TwoZeroOneOne.  It is amazing how differently we each respond in our posts.

Word for tomorrow – BUY.  If you prefer to work ahead, see the list for the week under “A Word A Day”.

For more information on participating in the challenge, click  the tab marked “challenge invitation”.
