Around A Fisheye Effect

April 2, 2011

ZArchive (Old Blog)

Around (from Wiktionary) – Defining a circle or closed curve containing a thing.

I love the fisheye effect.  I haven’t yet bought a fisheye lens (and probably won’t for now), but I have been playing with how to do it in Photoshop Elements.  One of the final steps in the process is to put a circle around it.  If I don’t, the edges look odd because they are not distorted but the rest of it is.  It’s not as good as the lens, but it is satisfying.  I also put in a solar flare to make the sky more interesting.  Not bad eh?

That’s a great description of how it looks. I’m not real nuts about the look but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Thanks for naming that for me!
