Wizard Effects on Landscape Color

Wizard – (fantasy) One who uses magical and mystical practices.

I’ve always enjoyed the movie, The Wizard of Oz.  It has so many things to think about, from finding courage to having faith to staying true to who you are.  This last week has been gray and overcast nearly every day.  It was so dreary, although I did take my walks during lunch.  It was harder to be enthusiastic about taking my daily pictures when everything was so gray and bleah.

But on Saturday the sun came out.  And it was like in the movie, at the beginning, where it goes from black and white to beautiful glorious Technicolor.

Word for tomorrow – LOADED.  If you prefer to work ahead, see the list for the week under “A Word A Day”.

To see how others might interpret today’s randomly selected word, check out other challenge participants in the box at the right.  For more information on participating in the challenge, click  the tab marked “challenge invitation”.

Such a classic, The Wizard of Oz. They don’t make them like that anymore. Thanks for reminding me. And I totally agree about the weather. I’m hating all these bleah days. The weekend, especially Saturday, made up for it…a little. Maybe…

    the sun’ll come out tomorrow…isn’t that another musical?…hugmamma. :)
