Supreme At Skeet

Family, ZArchive (Old Blog)

Supreme -At the greatest, most excellent, extreme, most superior, highest, or utmost.

My uncle was only eight years older than me, being a late in life baby.  Family joke:  my grandmothers lived next to each other.  Apparently my paternal grandmother said to my maternal grandmother, “I just don’t know how that happened”.  My maternal grandmother told me years later, “Well, I could tell her how THAT happened.”

Shortly before his untimely death in high school, he was the National Junior Skeet Shooting Champion.  He loved shooting and was obviously very, very good at it.  So good, he was supreme.

Word for tomorrow – CLIP.  If you prefer to work ahead, see the list for the week under “A Word A Day”.

Love the story. Actually, it’s the first skeet story I’ve ever heard from a real person, i.e. not something I’ve seen in a movie. Since skeet shooting is so foreign to a Hawaiian, I’m doubly awed.

    hugs for sharing…hugmamma. :)
