Whole Foods – Literally

August 12, 2011

Cooking, Garden, ZArchive (Old Blog)

I will get to todays word in just a minute.

I’m having a great time in Atlanta.  Not only am I seeing my daughter at night after work (for both of us), but yesterday I met her for lunch as well.  We went to a burger joint near her employer and since I picked her up, I had an opportunity to see the campus where she works.  It’s beautiful and more importantly, she likes being there.

This week’s experiment has been a success.  I’m getting some needed projects done for work and seeing her more than I would otherwise.  I’ve been walking early in the morning and now that the nights are cooling off more, the early morning temperatures have been quite comfortable.

As for today’s word, here is the difference between buying a whole watermelon at the farmer’s market and what we taste while we’re there.

Word for tomorrow – FANCY.  If you prefer to work ahead, see the list for the week under “A Word A Day”.
