Check It Off For Thanksgiving

November 22, 2011

Family, Holidays, ZArchive (Old Blog)

Let’s see – here’s my Thanksgiving check-off.  I’ve included highlights of some recipes that I’ve used in the past (and they tasted great).

Turkey – thawing (yes, use all the pepper called for in here) – CHECK

Cranberry relish – done (if made ahead or frozen, leave the walnuts until right before ready to serve) – CHECK

Mashed potatoes – ingredients bought – CHECK

Dessert – store bought this year – CHECK

Seeing our daughter for Thanksgiving?  PRICELESS

Here she is all those years ago.  Priceless then and still priceless now.

Looks like we were on the same page with the check list. Must be the time of year where we have to write everything down so we don’t forget anything. Adorable little girl. We’ll be traveling to see our daughter and her family. Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Seems you have a lot to be thankful for, as do I.

I made it to 100 faster than usual, which I was grateful for. It means my blessings are in fact at the front of my mind instead of my usual gripes about everything. One of my goals back in January was to be more content and it has become easier with practice.

Ah what a beautiful baby she was… Enjoy your Thanksgiving with her.

    Daughters rock, don’t they?

Yes they do, no matter what age they are. I see you have one (or at least one), so you know all about that from personal experience.
